Dinercruise door Amsterdam

We were in Amsterdam for our anniversary and were looking for a cruise. This was perfect. The food was very good and we liked that we had meat, fish or veggie option. Great tour info and the service was excellent...attentive and friendly! And we saw beautiful sites!! We would definitely recommend!!

This cruise was amazing. Very comfortable boat; food was delicious; crew so hospitable. What a great way to see Amsterdam while taking a break from the walking. We had arrived on an overnight flight and had no sleep, and it was a perfect way to end a very full day of sightseeing and walking. Highly recommend!

Our group of six said farewell to Amsterdam before a 7-day river cruise to Basel, Switzerland with a 4-course Dinner Cruise with Lovers Canal Cruise company. It was a very good experience. The Captain was quite informative, the server was amazing at serving all the meals in a timely fashion, and the food was quite good. A slight quibble was that it was unclear from which place the cruise departed and directions from the address listed on the tickets to the departure point was vague.

It was really nice. The food was good and the information given about the city were interesting and funny and not disturbing at all. However, be prepared, that you might be seated next to another couple at the same table - did not happen to us, but the table next to us.

We enjoyed a beautiful canal cruise and dinner. The weather cleared after a rainy afternoon. We chose the meat menu option and the food was excellent as was the wine. The staff was extremely friendly and the commentary as we cruise err d was informative. If you have the time, I would highly recommend this excursion.

A perfect end to a couple of days in amAmsterd. Food and wine were very very nice and the whole experience very relaxing and thothoroug enjoyable

Loved the dinner cruise - a really easy way to see the city and the food was fantastic. Out did my expectations on every point!

Was such a great cruise. We went for a drink before as we were early, then after we finished our drinks we headed down to the port, we were still early. So the lovely member of staff inside the ticket house by the dock gave us a free drinks voucher, so we ended up going back for another drink. So kind of them to do this as the women said I'm not going to let you wait so here is a drinks voucher for the bar. Myself and my mum had chosen the fish option which I wasnt so sure about but when we got on the boat it was delicious! We had some homemade bread with some butter and olive oils to start us off with a welcoming glass of champagne, followed by a trio of different types of salmon as the starter, then this was followed on from a delicious hot spinach soup with a cheese crostini, then followed by that we had halibut which came with a delicious colcanun mash, we had a little break where they kept coming round topping up our wines and drinks whilst we took in the beautiful knowledge and sights of amsterdam cruising along. If you toast to the locals who are sitting by the side of the canals you might just get a cheers or a wave back. They are so friendly!....then after our wee break we had a tasty light vanilla and lemon mousse dessert which came with some petit fours which was little coconut macaroons, some local Dutch cake and some little chocolate brownies and some tea or coffee if you wanted it. This meal was delicious and felt more like 6 courses than 4. It was worth the money. The atmosphere was great and the couple sitting next to us was so nice. You are seated at a table for 6 but there is only 4 of you so you have a gap in the middle so you dont feel like your invading anyone's privacy which is nice. Definitely worth every penny and I would definitely be booking this again with my husband when I go back to amsterdam again in the future.

Glad i choose this for my birthday dinner with my partner.cons of this trip was once we confirmed the attendance and while waiting for cruise given coupons to have free drinks.guy that working in that bar was rude with other customer.felt he should be polite in handling customer.hope management can do something with that.apart from that overall it was good experience.the waiter was friendly and attentive on fulfilling the needs.food was delicious plus captain gave good explanations about Amsterdam.unforgettable moments with my partner

Kids menu was not available but the reservation was made with. The cruise was not prepared to kids. Unnaceptable.

The dinner cruise was excellent based solely on the food. Overall the reason I’m giving it a three star is because the was no narrative whatsoever. The person speaking spoke three times and it was in Dutch. So we didn’t understand what was going on, what we were looking at period.

The food was was excellent and the route was interesting and very beautiful, mostly involving the western canals, passing Ann Frank's house etc. The commentary was 'unique'! Our captain had his own sense of humour and appreciation of what was important to tell us. The ticket includes 'unlimited drinks', but this relies on you trying hard to attract the attention of the waiting on staff to refill your glasses. We had 3 small glasses of red wine each during the 2hr 10 minute trip, and spent some time with empty glasses and waiting on staff nowhere near us. We were disappointed in that to be honest, and felt it would have been more appropriate to leave bottles on the table. Also, be aware that as a couple you will likely be sharing a table with another couple. The tables are designed to seat 6, so space isn't an issue, but you have a 50/50 chance of getting window seats or aisle seats which don't really give a great view of the surroundings. Overall, we enjoyed it! But there is room for improvement.

The setting on the boat was exquisite. The crue were very courteous and professional. Great food! Loved the scenery!

The provider for this excursion was "LOVERS". This vendors name was not listed on the Viator voucher so we walked to the address and confirmed the location.My wife and I checked in and then we were given coupons for a free beer while we waited to board. When we boarded, the wine started flowing. We had the meat option which was a nicely cooked steak about 2" thick on a ratatoule sauce base. Great appetizer composed of thinly sliced smoked veal topped by some pickled mushrooms. Everything was gourmet. As we dined we cruised thru the Amsterdam canals. Beautiful and romantic

Beautiful to see the city at night. Dinner was excellent. Entire experience was very well worth the cost.

It was a beautiful evening for a canal cruise. the staff was excellent. The dinner was good.There was very little commentary. Would have liked to hear more about the area.
