Op de dag van de tour ontmoet u uw gids bij uw hotel in Barcelona. Hier stapt u in uw voertuig met airconditioning en rijdt u naar de eerste stop. Luister tijdens de rit naar fascinerende verhalen over de geschiedenis en architectuur van Barcelona en over belangrijke figuren die de stad hebben gemaakt tot wat ze is.
Begin bijvoorbeeld bij de meest iconische bezienswaardigheid van Barcelona: La Sagrada Familia. Deze surrealistisch uitziende kathedraal werd ontworpen door de grote Catalaanse architect Antoni Gaudí. Bewonder het beroemde onvoltooide meesterwerk en hoor meer over de bouw ervan, die in 1882 is begonnen en pas in 2026 wordt afgerond.
Bekijk ook eens de verbazingwekkende creaties van Gaudí in Park Güell, met de speelse keramische sculpturen en terrassen. Of breng een bezoek aan de prachtige Casa Batlló en La Pedrera, ook wel Casa Milà, twee van zijn opvallende decoratieve herenhuizen aan de Passeig de Gracia.
U kunt ook het oudere deel van Barcelona bezichtigen. Rijd naar de sfeervolle Barri Gòtic (de gotische wijk) en wandel over de geplaveide straatjes en langs de Romeinse overblijfselen, middeleeuwse pleinen en 14e-eeuwse kathedraal van Barcelona (Kathedraal La Seu). Ga verder naar Las Ramblas, de kleurrijke grote winkelstraat met tapasbars, straatartiesten en bloemenmarkt.
En als u nog tijd overhebt, kunt u de tour afsluiten bij de heuvel Montjuïc, waar veel stadions van de Olympische Spelen van 1992 zich bevinden. Maak foto's van de stadions en geniet vanaf de top van een schitterend panoramisch uitzicht op de stad.
Uw privétour eindigt nadat u bent afgezet bij uw hotel.

It was an excellent tour with our tour guide and her excellent driver. Since we had a limited time in Barcelona this was the perfect choice. It allowed us to taylor our sightseeing to what we wanted to cover.

I thought the tour guide was very knowledgeable, however, after reading all the reviews I was expecting the tour guide's English to be a bit better. He was fairly hard to understand and he even commented that he typically did tours for groups that spoke Spanish, so I'm not sure why he was assigned as our guide. Additionally, the Viator site specifically stated that the tour company would contact me in advance to discuss a customized tour, however, they didn't, so we basically just went only to the places that he wanted to take us as, again, it was too difficult to explain to him where we wanted to go due to the translation/language barrier.
Andrea was a fantastic tour guide. My husband had a bad knee, so we mostly drove, but stopped briefly for to get out and take photos. He was intensely knowledgeable and pleasant! We learned more about Barcelona in this 1/2 day tour than the entire rest of our trip. Loved the historic perspective of Barcelona's rich past.

Absolutely awesome! We had our own van for a family of 6. We had a driver AND tour guide who were so friendly and accommodating! They answered ANY question we had about Barcelona, Spain, Europe, etc and we had tons. They showed us all the main places we would want to see in Barcelona in a short amount of time. Any place we wanted to go they took us and translated for us as well. I would recommend this to anyone!!
The half-day private sightseeing private tour we booked through Viator really exceeded our expectations. Even though we only had 4 hours, we felt that we were able to see many amazing things and appreciated Sonias great guidance. The driver was also excellent and very professional. We were pleased that Sonia and her driver were at our hotel early and ready to start us on our tour. She allowed us to customize the places we wanted to go and offered advice as to what would be best to see with her and the driver versus seeing on our own later. Because she is a professional tour guide, she was allowed special access to the attractions. Sonias historical and societal perspectives were great for us as we learned more about the city. We felt welcome by her warm and genuine personality. We only wished we had booked a longer tour, but now we have a reason to come back and will certainly request Sonia!
Barcelona is a grand historic city that sol be on most persons tour list the highlight was the huge church Songrada Famlia by Goudi.acertified genius our tour guide knew the stories of this cathedral in fine detail She even pushed me in my wheelchai all over the church which had several significant ramps.kudos to this tour compny .many thanks
