Australia Zoo is too good to rush, and you'll have almost 6 hours to spend here. All the zoo's many educational shows and demonstrations are supervised. Learn about Australia Zoo's several various national and international conservation projects, endangered species programs and breeding programs such as tigers, cassowaries, Tasmanian devil, cheetahs, elephants and crocodiles.
Step aboard Steve’s Safari Shuttle and explore all that Australia Zoo has to offer including the newest exhibit – Africa! Experience the wide open plains of the African Savannah and see exotic animals such as giraffe, rhino and zebra interacting together. See snakes, free-flight birds and learn more about crocs in the world-famous Crocoseum show and be awed by this prehistoric creature.
En route to the zoo you'll pass the majestic Glass House Mountains, bordered by pineapple farms and pine forests as you travel along the Steve Irwin Way scenic route to Australia Zoo.

The Croc Express was easy. No car, no problem. We walked a Wambat, saw the hospital behind the scenes, petted a koala and fed the wallabies.
Excellent zoo but would advise to take own food as the food hall only ok.
This is the second time i have used this service, very good service with pick up on time, price is very good would recommend this trip to everyone.
Wow!! Best trip yet! So full of knowledge and enthusiasm, the croc show outstanding!! The koala holding experience very well organised (although very pricey) absolute must!!
The only zoo I have ever visited that rates right up there with Disney, but perhaps a step better, depends on your philosophy. There is a lot more interaction with the animals from their keepers, something Stever Irwin believed in. Co-existence between animals and humans, we were impressed.
