Deze dagtrip brengt u naar Visegrád, waar u de middeleeuwse burcht (Citadella) en de romantische ruïnes van de voormalige koninklijke residentie van buiten zult bezichtigen.

Komt langs: Esztergom Basilica / Cathedral, Castle Hill Szt. István tér, Esztergom 2500 Hongarije

Vervolgens gaat u naar Esztergom voor een kijkje in de beroemde kathedraal aldaar.

Stoppen bij: Main Square (Fo tér), Szentendre Hongarije

Na een lunch van drie gangen gaat de tour verder naar de barokke artiestenwijk van Szentendre. Hier maakt u een wandeling met gids door de stad.

Nice drive, with an excellent good driver and good guiding. Timings were great except the return boat trip, we had to wsit longer than adviced, but any ways that won't spoil this fantastic tour. Forgot to mention the superb lunch that we were given in a breath taking views restaurant.

We were in very good hands with Lazlo, our tour guide. The first stop at St. Steven's was awesome. Our hilltop lunch was excellent. the quaint town of stendre was beautiful and the boat ride back was relaxing.

Very enjoyable day trip to the Danube Bend. The trip allowed a visit to the countryside, away from the city. The stop in Esztergom was wonderful with a visit to the beautiful Esztergom Basilica which stands on the bank of the Danube, overlooking Slovakia. After departing, our next stop was lunch at a nearby restaurant on our way to Szentendre which was a cute little town along the Danube. Many shops and people watching was quite enjoyable in the main square. At the conclusion of our stay, we boarded a boat to continue our return to Budapest on the Danube. Excellent day trip that concluded at the dock area in Budapest, where we started.

The places we visited were fine, but the two tour guides gave no time for visitors questions regarding places we visited. The lunch was awful.

Comfortable coach. Tour guide was informative. Nice lunch in a picturesque setting. Very nice day complete with a boat ride on the Danube.

This trip is well worth booking. Lunch was very tasty and good. Loved ending the trip with the river cruise back to Budapest.

The driver was on time taking us to the bus. The guide on this trip was very cool, no humor and somewhat bossy. When we arrived at our destination up river, she insisted we not go off on our own until she finished her talk. This went on in Spanish for 10 minutes which most could not understand. On the boat trip back we saw her one time and she disappeared when we arrived back in Budapest without so much as a hope you enjoyed your tour or anything.

Pick-up was on time and bus was nice. Cathedral was Rome quality. Very much worth seeing. Visegrad castle was nice. The food at the restaurant was so-so, but the soup was great!. The small town we went to was quite nice and since we weren't there for an extremely long time it was good enough to do some tourist shopping, exploring, and getting a snack or drink. The boat ride back to Budapest was nice. All-in-all a nice day of activities. I would recommend it to anybody wanting to get out of town for a day.

The Danube is such a wonderful river, one has to see it and hear about it's great history. Nowhere better than on this amazing trip.
