Duik- en snorkelcruise naar het Outer het Great Barrier Reef vanuit Cairns
Ga snorkelen of duiken op een paar van de bekendste duiklocaties voor de kust van Cairns zoals de riffen van Flynn, Milln en Thetford met een overvloed aan zeeleven. De locaties zijn uitstekend geschikt voor muurduiken, zwemmen door doorgangen en over uitstekende gedeelten, ideaal voor zowel beginnende als ervaren duikers. U ziet naar alle waarschijnlijkheid een overvloed aan vissoorten, harde koralen zoals staghorn, tafel-, plaat- en zwerfkoraal en verschillende soorten zachte koralen.
Uw dag begint wanneer u aan boord gaat bij Marlin Wharf. De ultramoderne 29 meter lange catamaran is uw thuisbasis voor de dag. Door de dag heen bezoekt u drie verschillende locaties, zoals het Thetford-, Milln- en Flynnrif. Elke stop laat een ander aspect van het prachtige het Great Barrier Reef zien. Op elke locatie hebt u de keuze om te snorkelen, te duiken of een combinatie van beide te doen.
Als u nog nooit scubaduiken hebt uitgeprobeerd, kunt u ervoor kiezen om één of twee introductieduiken te maken. U kunt het ook bij snorkelen houden en de drie locaties vanaf het wateroppervlak bekijken. Een bemanningslid neemt geïnteresseerden mee op een begeleide snorkeltour bij één van de locaties op het rif. Gecertificeerde duikers kunnen ervoor kiezen om maximaal drie brevetduiken te maken. Wat u ook kiest, tijdens uw snorkel- en duikcruise naar het Outer het Great Barrier Reef bent u in totaal vijf uur in het water.
Als u ondertussen vragen hebt, beantwoordt het vriendelijke personeel ze graag. De boot heeft een compleet uitgeruste bar, douches met zoet water en uitgestrekte zonnedekken met uitzicht op de Koraalzee. Tussen de verschillende locaties wordt een tropisch lunchbuffet geserveerd, in combinatie met thee in de ochtend en middag.

- Het is niet raadzaam binnen 48 uur na uw vlucht te gaan duiken. Alle deelnemers moeten een vragenlijst over hun gezondheid invullen voordat ze mogen duiken. Als u een chronische medische conditie hebt (astma, hartproblemen enzovoort), mag u misschien niet duiken, dus vraag uw dokter om advies.

Very nice boat. This is the only tour do 3 outer reef locations. Good breakfast and lunch. Friendly staff. Please note that if you do diving during 2nd location, your lunch time will be shorten.
The tour was amazing. Isa was brilliant. Extremely calm and patient with everyone. Dave was super too.
Excellent crew who carefully prepared all...snorkelers, divers and those that just rode along. We always felt safe and accounted for. Food and snacks were good.They did a great job of managing a large group keeping us in wet and dry areas which kept us all safe and comfortable. The water was choppy but I was fine taking medication and their ginger pill. Once you're in, you don't feel the waves that much. Staff was available for assistance and questions.You suited on and off at each stop which took time but was necessary if you wanted to ensure a stinger free experience. My only disappointment was the snorkel tour at the last stop. They gave us a five minute warning and then just left...one guy and that's it. It took at least 5 minutes for us to suit up. By the time I did, the group was in the distance and I was afraid to follow them by myself. Would have been nice to have a second group going out...feel like I missed out, especially seeing the pictures the staff photographer took and was selling. She did a nice job covering the trip.
This was an excellent tour. I was most impressed with the amount of teaching they did in order to make sure you were safe and informed. If you only Scuba once a year as I do I appreciated the reminders. The reef was better than any other reef I'd seen but I was disappointed that it was 'half dead' even there. That's why I gave it a 4 star. Lots of varieties of fish and good visibility. The staff on the boat were all very professional and made it a very pleasurable day. Good food too! My friend and I wandered a little far and were surprised that the current was so strong trying to get back to the boat. They did warn us and they left a long rope out the back to pull yourself back with but it had drifted away and we couldn't find it when he needed it. There wasn't anything they could have done about that. They told us how to signal them if we needed them but you know how men are :! I can't think of one thing they could have changed or improved on. It was excellent and a beautiful day.
A friend recommended this trip so we booked it and would do this again in a heartbeat. Everything was supplied, the food was amazing on board and most importantly SAFETY was awesome. After every stop there was a head count and they meant business when counting the passengers. Nobody could move around the boat while the count was being done. That made my wife and I feel very safe. I would recommend this trip for families. The staff really showed concern for their guests. I was very impressed.
This is a must. Great experience - we did the walk that took us up in daylight but going dark coming down so we saw the city lighting up - just beautiful. Our guide was knowledgable and fun - would highly recommend .
