U rijdt door de woestijn en verkent Al Ain tijdens deze dagtour. Nadat u bent opgehaald bij uw hotel in het centrum van Dubai kunt u genieten van de rit in de touringcar met airconditioning. Ga lekker zitten en geniet van het uitzicht op de woestijn terwijl u naar Al Ain wordt gebracht.

Het mooie Garden City is vernoemd naar de groene parken en wordt omringd door het Hajargebergte, dicht bij de grens met Oman. Bij aankomst brengt u een bezoek aan het fort Albert Jahili, een van de oudste gebouwen van de Verenigde Arabische Emiraten. Ga naar binnen, ontdek dit fabelachtig mooie fort en kom meer te weten over hoe het in 1891 werd gebouwd om de palmbossen van de stad te beschermen.

Verken daarna het Sheikh Zayed Palace Museum. Dit gerestaureerde paleis is de voormalige residentie van de overleden president van de Verenigde Arabische Emiraten, Zijne Hoogheid Sjeik Zayed. Het paleis ligt tussen de palmbomen en magnoliabomen en bestaat uit officiële kamers en collecties die eigendom zijn van de regerende familie. Strek uw benen in de oasis van Al Ain en aanschouw de eenvoudige maar ingenieuze Falaj-kanalen. Bekijk de kanalen die door de palmbonen kronkelen en kom erachter hoe ze duizenden jaren werden gebruikt om lokale plantages te irrigeren.

Dan gaat de reis verder naar Al Ain Nationaal Museum, waar nog veel meer relikwieën uit het park zijn tentoongesteld. Bekijk het eeuwenoude aardewerk en de hulpmiddelen en ontdek de recente geschiedenis van Al Ain in de dagen voordat er olie werd ontdekt.

Stop bij de bruisende kamelenmarkt. Bekijk de kamelen en klets met de lokale bewoners terwijl ze hun vee inspecteren en onderhandelen over de prijs. Na de lunch (op eigen kosten) bezoekt u de warmwaterbronnen bij Jebel Hafeet, de berg die uittorent boven de stad. U kunt hier pootjebaden in het water. Daarna keert u terug naar Dubai.

Al Ain National Museum is closed for renovation until further notice. The stop will be replaced with a visit to Qasr Al Muwaiji

Great pick up service. The drive through the desert to Al Ain was fascinating with interesting commentary from the tour guide throughout the drive. Visiting the mountains bordering Oman to see the oasis was breathtaking, date farm was interesting with ability to buy great dates. Overall a great tour with only a few minor issues. Maybe too many sites to visit in one day making it a very long day, people attending the tour should be considerate of others and return to the bus at expected time rather than make people wait The camel market could be missed as its expensive not an extra cost and yields little

I enjoyed this trip but disappointed that we did not go up the mountain. We only stopped shortly by the hot spring within the park on the bottom of the mountain. I got this mainly because I thought we would go up the mountain. Besides that I enjoyed the tour.

This was a very good tour that got us outside Dubai. We had a most enjoyable time seeing a garden city in the desert. The visit to the camel market and seeing racing camels was most enjoyable as was the visit to the mountain hot springs. A good lunch too. One complaint. We had to be transferred some distance to meet up with the main bus and needed to pick up other travellers on the way. The problem is that there was restricted room in the back of the transfer vehicle - very uncomfortable for someone like me withy two titanium knees. .. !!! Other than this, a good day out to a more traditional desert town...
