U treft uw gids bij de kabelbaan van Dubrovnik, nabij het Pile-plein, en stapt in voor uw rit naar de top van Mount Srđ op 412 meter boven de stad. Na een rit van ongeveer drie minuten met de kabelbaan bereikt u de top en kunt u zich vergapen aan het uitzicht over Dubrovnik en de Dalmatische kust die aan uw voeten liggen. Houd uw fototoestel in de aanslag: het schijnt dat u op een heldere dag bezienswaardigheden kunt zien die op maar liefst 67 km afstand liggen.
Nadat u van het uitzicht vanaf de berg Srđ hebt genoten en foto's hebt gemaakt, stapt u weer in de kabeltram voor de rit terug naar Dubrovnik, waarna uw wandeling door de oude stad kan beginnen. In deze buurt zijn de mooiste bezienswaardigheden met een overvloed aan cultuur en geschiedenis. Bekijk de ronde fontein van Onofrio met de enorme centrale koepel en wandel langs het Franciscaanse klooster, waar een kopie van Michelangelo's beeldhouwwerk La Pietà is gehuisvest.
De wandeling gaat verder naar het Sponzapaleis: een schitterend gebouw dat het kroonjuweel van de Renaissance in Dubrovnik is. Nu bevindt zich hier het enorme staatsarchief van het land, maar het Sponzapaleis was vroeger het weelderigste gebouw van de stad. Andere hoogtepunten op uw wandeling zijn onder andere de Orlandozuil, de klokkentoren, het Paleis van de Rector en de kerk van Sint-Blasius: een mooie kerk die gewijd is aan de beschermheilige van de stad.
U wandelt over het grote plein om de barokke Onze-Lieve-Vrouw-Hemelvaart Kathedraal te bewonderen die in de 18e eeuw na een aardbeving werd herbouwd, waarna uw wandeling ten einde komt nabij de Pile-poort.

The view is lovely. It would still have been good without the guide.you can find your way round without help and not have to worry about the time. Felt we didn't have time to explore the military outlook..

Very disappointing. We booked this tour primarily for the cable car ride. Viators what to expect information said a chance to savour the views and scenery from the top of Mt Sud, and after about 1 hour return down. Well when we got to the top the guide said you have 15 minutes!! Scarcely time to visit the toilet before rejoining the queue to go down. We anticipated spending some time photographing the scenery and perhaps taking some refreshment amidst the amazing views. Such a short visit is extremely poor value.

Great tour guide, great cable car experience, perfect weather day! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and told us a ton of Croatian history, the wait for the cable car was not long and the length at the top was just right. I think it should be made clear there is a lot of walking involved and you should definitely wear comfortable shoes and bring water. We had quite a few older couples with us and they lagged behind and were very winded at the route of the walk from the meeting location to the cable car, to Old Town. The wait time at our meeting location was quite long as well, we waited at least a half hour for everyone in our group to show up before we could proceed.

Dubrovnik is a fantastic place to visit. Our guide was knowledgeable and able to connect with each of us. There is a bit of walking uphill to get to the cable car, so be prepared. The view from Mount Srd is incredible. Walking through the Old Town was so interesting - so many side alleyways to explore. Be aware - most merchants accept the local currency only.

Loved the cable car with the stunning views of Dubrovnik. It was extremely hot during the walking tour as we did it in the late morning. We had spent a couple of days in Dubrovnik so we had already seen around Dubrovnik but we would still recommend the walking tour if you only have a short time in Dubrovnik.

Loved this tour with a fantastic guide who was so knowledgeable she got us quickly through the long queues waiting for the cable car and took us through Old Town .Would recommend this tour .
