Ontmoet uw gids bij de ingang van de musea voor gereserveerde tickets. Eenmaal in de galerij zult u versteld staan van de bouwwerken en versieringen van dit gebouw uit de 16e eeuw, ontworpen door Giorgio Vasari als zetel van de regering van Florence.

De gids leidt u dor de verschillende vertrekken en vertelt u het verhaal achter de belangrijkste schilderijen, waaronder Maestà van Giotto, Aanbidding der Koningen, de prachtige Tribune ontworpen door Bernardo Houssay Buontalenti en vele andere meesterwerken uit de Renaissance, zoals Michelangelo's Tondo Doni en Botticell's Venus. U bewondert het vertrek dat gewijd is aan Raphael en een vertrek dat gewijd is aan Caravaggio.

Tijdens deze tour hebt u een geweldig uitzicht op de rivier en de omliggende heuvels, en ziet u de buitenkant van de Corridoio Vasariano bij de Ponte Vecchio.

De tour eindigt in het museum, zodat u de galerij op eigen tempo verder kunt verkennen.

The tour never happened. We were there well ahead of time, exactly where the directions instructed us to be, at gate 3 next to a specific monument, and the guide never showed up. Other guides in the area were trying to help us and confirmed that sometimes it happens, fraudulent ads.

Amazing museum tour from an equally amazing guide. I loved that we were allowed to go back in the museum to revisit our favorites once the guided tour was completed.

We waited for half an hour for some no shows. We could have gotten in on our own in that time. The cost if the tour does NOT include entry tickets, be prepared to pay extra $16 euros pp. The guides English was not great, and I was disappointed in her tour. I wouldn't recommend it.
