In het midden van Toscane ligt de schilderachtige streek Chianti verscholen. Deze regio staat bekend om zijn zorgvuldig onderhouden landerijen, glooiende heuvels, wijnen en landelijke verrassingen. Deze trip geeft u de kans om de streek in het echt te ervaren.
Tijdens deze trip ontsnapt u even aan de dagelijkse sleur en stort u zich in de charme en tradities van de Chiantistreek, over de hele wereld bekend om zijn wijnen, speciale kazen en vleeswaren.

Nadat u uw gids hebt ontmoet, brengt u een bezoek aan een rustieke wijnmakerij. Hier wordt u opgewacht door de eigenaars, die u de kneepjes van het vak leren en de geheimen van de beste rode Chianti-wijn vertellen. Geniet van zelfgemaakte snacks en proef een zachte wijn.

Vervolgens rijden we u door het prachtige landschap van de regio naar Greve in Chianti, de beroemde stad die bekend staat om de Chianti-wijn. Hier kunt u door de stad slenteren en de steegjes verkennen of op het plein zitten en kijken hoe de wereld aan u voorbijtrekt. U kunt echter ook de prachtige middeleeuwse gebouwen bewonderen en een kijkje nemen in de pittoreske, ambachtelijke winkeltjes.

Maar de dag is dan nog niet voorbij! Dwars door de olijfgaarden, glooiende heuvels en wijngaarden wordt u naar een andere wijnmakerij gebracht, waar u zich kunt ontspannen terwijl u tips krijgt over hoe u de perfecte sommelier wordt! Aan het einde van de trip keert u terug naar Florence na een serene en bevredigende dag.

We had a wonderful time on this tour. It started 20 minutes later than expected and got back an hour late so make sure you have plenty of time! The two winery’s were so nice and despite having on and off rain that day the tour was still amazing! Would do it again!

I loved the two wineries we visited, the first one was my favorite. The snacks and olive oil provided was amazing although I wish there was more at the second vineyard. I especially loved the time given at Greve although we were late to arrive and I wish we had more time to explore the beautiful village of Greve. My favorite part was our incredible tour guide, she was amazing!!

We booked this tour since we were without a car, but I wanted my sister to see Greve and the Chianti countryside. First problem, the tour staring point was impossible to find. Then, much to our dismay, the group was 55 people on a full size tour bus, rather than the minivan size group touted in the website description. The winery visits were ok, but seriously - a group of 55 is too big for a wine tasting experience. Our visit to Greve was only 20 minutes. Instead of arriving back at the station at 6:30, it was 7:45, causing us to change our dinner plans. What a disappointment.

Nothing special- originally the trip was booked as English and Spanish but actually also did French. Having the guide repeat everything in 3 languages turned us off.

The bus was a big comfy tour bus. The first winery was an old castle with a winery on the location. You get to see the cellar and taste 4 wines with homemade olive oil from the winery as well. The second winery is more of a distillery as they dont have a winery at the location, but do the fermenting and bottling there. This is a very modern business. I believe we tried 3 wines with meat samples there. The 2 wineries are completely opposite. The city of Greve is very small, but charming. Tour was worth the money and time.

The drive and scenery was beautiful. We were taken to two vineyards. The first one gave us good information and had beautiful view the wine was a bit pricey. The snacks weren't enough for the amount of people there. The second one was smaller vineyard and less tasting and the oil, cheese tasting was limited. The wine was very limited barley tasted it. We're weren't happy with the tour. Next time will drive ourselves.

MEH .... This tour had 65 people on it!!!!! We went to two wineries. The tastings were rushed and unimpressive. I did like the stop in Greve where I was able to go to a tasting room and try some truly amazing wines. If you are a wine lover, you will hate this tour.
