The falls were very good but they wouldn't let us go down to the lower trail. At the end we were dropped off at a horrible buffet where we had to spend one hour. At that time our guide left without informing us. The driver came back and couldn't speak a word of English so he couldn't answer questions. The tour guide had been very nice. However her English wasn't good enough to understand certain questions so were were confused at times. Plus we didn't get a bathroom break at the end of the tour.

We wee crammed into a small tour van at 7 in the morning, then driven around for an hour picking others up at different hotels. We were crammed into seats like sardines- no legroom or arm room, every single seat taken. The guide was pleasant, but she spoke very poor English and very little Spanish. Inside the van, we had to wait for 30 minutes to go through Brazilian border control and another 30 minutes at the Argentinian control. Once in the park, we had to pay for our park tickets, only to learn that the Argentinian side only took cash. Our guide got us through border control and helped secure tickets at the park for us. When entering the park, she did not look back at us, and we were walking slowly with two small children. We fell off the back of the group and she didn’t notice for a while. The train to the devil’s throat was super packed, four to a row. Once at the Devils throat, there was more waiting, then a .75 mile walk across bridges to get to the falls. The falls themselves were magnificent and well worth the trip. The kids, 7 and 9, were complaining most of the time about the 93 degree heat. After that, we took another slow, cramped train to the upper and lower loops to the other falls. Most of the group wanted the lower walk, because it has better views. My kids were hot and tired and didn’t want steps, so we took the easier upper path. The guide went with the other group, so we were left on our own. The guide told us nothing about the Falls, and the only “guiding” she did was to say things like, trains now, bathroom now, meet here, etc. Our loop took less than one hour, but the other one took over two hours, so we had to wait around for the other to walk and eat. We were basically sitting around on our own for two hours, just waiting for people to get back. On the return trip, we pulled over to the side to wait. We sat packed in the van for 20 minutes outside a Show place, not being told what we were waiting for. Eventually, we found out that some passengers had another tour after the Argentinian falls. 20 minutes later, we found out that we were the ones with the other tour to the Brazilian side of the falls! We were left to wait for ano5er driver at the Churrasco place. Luckily, the other driver came ten minutes later in a private car and took us to the Brazilian falls. He was wonderful, attentive, kind, and accommodating. He stayed with us, helped us, advised us, etc. I would suggest calling him or someone like him instead of group tour.

The tour was well organized and secure! Jose was a wonderful guide. She was knowledgeable, friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful stay not only at the Argentinean side of the falls but on our trip to Foz. She spoke Spanish and Portuguese so those that only spoke Engilsh on our tour were just translated to by the rest. The tour itself started right on time and took us across the border with no issue and to the Iguazu Falls Park. Jose dealt with the ticketing and lines so it was a relaxing ride without having to worry about a thing. The falls were a spectacular phenomenon with an energy that can only be described by being there. Because we were a large group we didn't have to worry about being paired with other tourists but be prepared for crowds of people flooding the walkways in the main trail. We had a nice walk that took us to the less crowded lower views of the falls and then later headed up up to the bridge walkways over the river. The tour ended with a drive back to Brazil and dinner at a traditional Brazilian buffet and meat grill. It was a little expensive if you aren't a meat eater coming to about 70 reals per person. It is a popular tour guide location so many vendors sell things out front and the inside is filled with tourist. Overall it was a delicious and great experience. If you are struggling to decide between seeing the Argentinean side of the falls or the Brazilian side, I'm here to tell you that you should see both. On the Argentinean side, you get up close and personal with the water and a beautiful trail. On the Brazilian side you get to really see the expanse of the entire landscape of Iguazu like you could never imagine of the Argentinean side and a similar close and personal feel at the Devils Throat. Overall Amazing, hassle-free tour and would definitely recommend!

The tour itself was great but it was cut short because one of the attendees needed to get to the airport which I found unacceptable in the extreme. To have an entire group of people who all paid full price sacrifice a part of their tour for one individual is poor planning on the side of the tour operator, they should have declined her attendance or placed her on another tour.

What a wonderful site. The guide was calm and took us around at a leisurely pace. He helped point out many items that we probably would have missed without him. This area is on our list for a revisit since it is so large and wounderous that it will take multiple trips to really see it without all the awe that first time visitors would have. A long day well worth the price.

An absolutely amazing and breathtaking experience. The views of the falls from the Brazilian side are great but they are far far better from the Argentinian side.
