2-Night Sapa Tour from Hanoi by Overnight Train

Night 1: Hanoi – Lao Cai

Gather at Hanoi Station at 8:00pm. Board and sleep on the night train to Lao Cai. This will be an unforgettable memory for the passengers experiencing the first time sleeping on the train.

Day 1: Lao Cai – Cat Cat Village - Sapa (B, L, D)

Be picked up from Lao Cai Station and taken to the hotel in the center of Sapa town. Have breakfast and take a rest. Start the journey to Cat Cat Village of the Hmong people, one of the most attractive destinations with traditional brocade-making industry, handicrafts and jewelry processing. Experience the local life and contemplate the impressive fall, enjoy traditional music of the Hmong minority. Leave Cat Cat village, head back to Sapa for lunch. Visit Ham Rong tourist destination, Orchid Garden, European flower garden, and peach forest. Trek to the Heaven Gate, the highest place to see the Fansipan Peak, Bamboo Forest, Ta Pin Cave, and all of Sapa town. Walk around the town after dinner, and enjoy grilled dishes on the street while touching clouds flying around you will be an unforgettable memory.

Day 2: Sapa – Lao Chai village – Ta Van Village – Lao Cai (B, L, D)

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, then visit Muong Hoa Valley of Hmong, the Dzao ethnic minority society at Lao Chai and Ta Van Village. Stop for some sightseeing Muong Hoa Valley with its many strange, ancient carved stones. Along the way from Lao Chai to Ta Van, explore the cultural life, habits and customs of the northwest area. Enjoy lunch at local restaurant. Back to Sapa town, have some shopping time, rent a bike to Silver Fall, Love Fall, or experience the leaf bathing of the Red Dzao people (optional) until 4pm. Head to Lao Cai Station, have dinner at a nearby restaurant and say goodbye to Lao Cai. Get on the night train back to Hanoi. Arrive in Hanoi between 5 and 6am for the end of the tour.
