Nadat u bent opgehaald bij uw hotel, gaat u per comfortabele touringcar naar het dorp Nine Miles. Dit dorp ligt weggestopt in de prachtige Jamaicaanse bergen in de parochie Saint Ann, en is de geboorteplaats van de legendarische 'King of Reggae.' Tijdens het verkennen van het gebied vertelt uw lokale gids u meer over het interessante leven van Bob Marley. Blijf even op de berg Zion Rock, de meditatieplek van Bob en leg uw hoofd te rusten op het 'kussen' dat beroemd werd in het nummer 'Talking Blues'. Nadat u een ronde hebt gemaakt door Nine Miles, geniet u van een eenvoudige Jamaicaanse lunch voordat u uw rit vervolgt naar de beroemde Dunn's River Falls op het eiland.

Wandel met de hulp van uw gids naar de top van Dunn's River Falls, een bijzonder natuurwonder. Deze glinsterende terraswatervallen hebben een verval van 180 meter en komen uit op het strand met zijn verschillende faciliteiten. Tijdens de gemiddelde wandeltocht naar de top kunt u even stoppen om te zwemmen in de verfrissende poelen. Na het bereiken van de top kunt u genieten van het adembenemende uitzicht op het Jamaicaanse landschap onder u. Na de trip wordt u teruggebracht naar uw hotel.

Optie lichtgevende lagune:
Deze optie is inclusief één van beroemdste attracties van Jamaica - de lichtgevende lagune! Loop kort na zonsondergang naar het vertrekpunt, stap in een klein bootje en vaar met een ervaren gids de lagune in. U hoort tijdens de cruise naar het midden van de lagune, waar het minder dan 1,5 m diep is, waarom de lagune oplicht. Geniet van een gratis drankje. Als het water wordt verstoord, ziet u een griezelig licht vanaf de bodem branden.

Als u in een avontuurlijke bui bent, kunt u een duik nemen in het lichtgevende water, een van de weinige plaatsen ter wereld waar dit nog voorkomt! Maakt u zich geen zorgen, het griezelig uitziende water van de lagune is volkomen ongevaarlijk.

I'm so happy that we decided to do this tour. The waterfall was absolutely breathtaking and my husband and I both felt like we were on top of the world once we got to the top. It was a pretty challenging climb but it's something that is a once in a lifetime opportunity. The Bob Marley tour was amazing as well. It was so awesome to learn about him and his family. This excursion was one of my favorite parts of the entire trip!

Dunns River Falls was amazing,, loved every minute of it. Nine Mile love being able to view Bob Marleys birth place. The tour guide driver Mickel was very knowledgeable and depending on where you stay the tours can take up a full day. Upon leaving Dunn Rivers Fall please patronize the vendors, especially if you want your money to go to the locals. I did not patronize the vendors and one of the vendors said

Extremely disappointed in how the company handled this excursion. I booked this tour and added the Luminous Lagoon for myself, 2 daughters and granddaughter. I paid 700 for the 4 of us. After we were picked up from our hotel in Montego Bay, we picked up a couple in Ochos Rios who had only signed up for the Bob Marley portion of the tour. The driver decided to go to Bob Marley's first instead of Dunn's River Falls for this couple. Because of this, Dunn's River Falls was closed when we got there and so everyone on the tour missed out on what I considered to be the best part of the tour. The company was unable to fit us into another tour of Dunn's River Falls tour during our stay. This was the case with all of the other guests as well. I won't even go into how the driver and guide were going to do nothing about this and just expected us to not have a problem with this. With some insistence on my part, the driver took my information and told me I would be contacted by the company the following day to make this right. He would not give me his office number. I was told no and that they would contact me. When I returned home, I was contacted via email letting me know my credit card would be refunded 80. Not 80 per person...a total of 80. 20/pp Remember I paid 175.00 per person for the Combo Tour. I have used this company many times with no issues but will not be using them in the future.

Don't do this tour especially if you are coming from Negril. Our pick up was 7:30 am. We made at least 5 stops at Mobay resorts before we even began the tour. We only had light lunch, only 30 min at Dunns River- not enough time , the bus overheated on the way back from Nine mile and it took 15 hours

4 stars because the length of time it took to get to nine miles. Advise- use the bathroom before going on the nine mile drive. Also, we didn’t have a tour guide on our tour (called out sick)...the driver wasn’t so energetic but did get us back home safe.

Amazing day! We had a wonderful driver Tony that took us on our excursion. The Dunn Falls were gorgeous and an awesome experience I would do again. You can't bring anything with you during your trip on the falls unless you don't care if you lose it. There are pictures and videos that were taken along the trip up the falls for purchase afterwards. Be sure to bring a towel and a dry change of clothes for afterwards, and water shoes are needed but they sell them if you don't have any, I think they are 10.00 US. Then we went to lunch and had the choice of fish or chicken. I chose the chicken and it was traditional jerk chicken rice and some greens. It was ok, I wasn't disappointed in it but I wasn't there for the food anyways. Afterwards we went on a trip up through the Jamaican hillsides and the country to Nine Mile. The drive was a bumpy and long one but we got to see the part of Jamaica I wanted to see away from the resorts. The drive itself was an adventure on its own and if you get car sick really easy you might on the bumpy drive. It took awhile to get there but the beautiful countryside was worth it. We got to Nine Mile later than we had expected but still got to tour the house and grounds. To be able to say you got to go to Bob Marley's childhood home and mausoleum is a pretty neat thing. Now if you go you need to remember you are in a different country it's not the U.S. and also Bob Marley's house so things that wouldn't be allowed so openly in the U.S. may be ok there. Basically don't be surprised or offended by someone smoking something other than cigarettes in the area. Would I do this again if I had the chance? YES!!!
