Ga naar Toulouse Street in de Franse wijk op het door u gekozen tijdstip voor uw 2 uur durende brunchcruise op zondag. Stap aan boord van de stoomboot Natchez, een authentieke stoomboot met schoepenrad die u meeneemt op een ouderwetse tocht over de rivier de Mississippi. Dit door stoom aangedreven vaartuig heeft alles van een machinekamer van museumkwaliteit tot een megafoon om de bevelen om te roepen over het schip.
Terwijl u de rivier de Mississippi opstoomt, geniet u van schitterend uitzicht op de skyline van New Orleans en wordt u getrakteerd op livemuziek die wordt verzorgd door een jazztrio. Er is ook livecommentaar aan boord.
In de hut of op het dek kunt u aanschuiven bij een heerlijk lunchbuffet in Louisiana-stijl. Geniet van gerechten zoals eifrittata's, Creoolse garnalen, kaasplankje, broodpudding en vers fruit (bekijk het volledige menu hieronder), allemaal lekkere favorieten uit Louisiana! Drankjes, waaronder mimosa's, punch en Bloody Mary's zijn te koop.
Uw brunchcruise eindigt weer in de Franse wijk, waar u voldoende tijd hebt om New Orleans op het vasteland te bekijken.

De Steamboat NATCHEZ cruises regen of zonneschijn.
Let op: de Steamboat NATCHEZ zal buiten dienst zijn op 21 januari - 16 februari 2019 voor haar jaarlijkse inspecties door de kustwacht en algemeen onderhoud. Alle cruises in deze periode vinden plaats op haar zusterschip - de Riverboat CITY of NEW ORLEANS.
Om de Franse wijk te helpen beschermen tegen gemotoriseerd verkeer, wordt u verzocht om indien mogelijk te wandelen naar het handige vertrekpunt van de tour, op slechts een korte wandeling van de meeste hotels in het centrum.
De Steamboat NATCHEZ is handicap toegankelijk. Toegang tot de bovenste en onderste dekken is echter alleen via trappen. Bel ons alsjeblieft met eventuele vragen voordat je je plannen afrondt als je vragen hebt over toegang of persoonlijke uitrusting.
Cruise is geschikt voor rolstoelen, maar toiletten zijn niet breed genoeg om te plaatsen en er zijn geen liften aan boord.
Babytarieven zijn van toepassing op voorwaarde dat ze geen stoel bezetten.

A family and friends outing,,,,enjoyable but not so special to go again,,,,ticket rates, retrieval and boarding were very smooth,,,,food is so closely monitored as to be annoying,,,no air conditioning except at the bar, so if you aren’t at the bar it’s HOT,,,,,

I’m from Iowa and live on the Mississippi. The cruise wasn’t spectacular but it was fun, relaxing, and informative. The food was ok. I enjoyed myself and if I go back to The Big Easy next year, I’d probably do it again.

Food was amazing. Boarding and disembarking was very orderly and moved quickly. Dining room very clean and looked re-done. The brunch was out of this world. I'd like the recipe for your shrimp and grits . The gentleman speaking the tour was excellent. Loved " the steamboat stompers" just the kind of music I was looking for in NOLA

Definitely not worth the money. It was a total tourist trap. The food was just so so. If you don’t get there early enough you wont have a seat with a view. We sat in the center of the boat and listened to the narration without the view. The band was pretty good, but didn’t play for very long at all.

Had a nice time. Staff was nice, food was limited but was pretty good (could've been better), drinks were good. The organ was way off key and kind of annoying. I wish the commentary would've been more in depth as I would've like to have learned more about what I was seeing. Expected more for the price

The Natchez is a beautiful boat with a lot of history on it! The audio tour of the Mississippi River was really fascinating and you will learn a lot. However, definitely skip the brunch on this. The food is sub-par and for what you pay, you can get a nice brunch elsewhere in New Orleans. I would recommend the jazz cruise by itself. The jazz band was great!

It was a great experience. They have live band. They have buffet. They have Southern Specialty food like bread pudding, banana foster with ice cream and grits. They have someone explained some of the history about New Orleans on the river.
