Ontmoet uw gids in de ochtend of middag bij uw hotel of accommodatie in Nice. Begin uw reis op de Corniche Moyenne, een van de vele spectaculaire kustwegen in deze regio, met een prachtig uitzicht op de Franse Riviera. Bewonder de prachtige architectuur van de belle époque tijdens een wandeling over de prachtige Promenade des Anglais. Beklim de heuvel met het kasteel om een nog beter uitzicht op de omgeving te krijgen, en niet te vergeten een kans om de weelderige tuinen en watervallen op de heuvel te bekijken.
Vervolgens brengt u een bezoek aan de sfeervolle wijk Cimiez, waar koningin Victoria haar winters doorbracht. Tegenwoordig biedt deze wijk elke zomer plaats aan het Nice Jazz Festival en is het de thuisbasis van een paar opmerkelijke kunstmusea. Rijd langs de Promenade des Arts naar het congrescentrum Acropolis, de bibliotheek La Tête Carrée van Sosno en het Museum voor Moderne en Hedendaagse Kunst. Bewonder de kleurrijke fresco's en gravures in de Russisch-orthodoxe kathedraal. Bezoek de oude binnenstad (Vieux Nice) van Nice met een stop op het beroemde plein, Place Garibaldi. Geniet van de charme van de drukke bloemenmarkt, uitnodigende cafés en kleine winkeltjes in de Cours Saleya.

Our family took this tour during our 1st full day in Nice. It gave us a great overview of the City which helped allow us to better plan where we wanted to spend our few free days. Our tour guide was awesome she was able to get us into the Russian Orthodox church for a quick viewing. She also gave us short walking tours around the Roman ruins and Castle Hill. As a life-long Nice resident, she was able to provide us with lots of great commentary along the way. We are very glad that we chose this tour!!!

The tour was a delightful treat for all of us first timers in Nice. Even though the day was dour due to rain and cloud cover, it was total fun and the credit goes to Zara, our guide. There was not a dull moment and we loved the discussions including History, Culture, religion, parenting and pets/animals. We first went to the Top of the Castle Hill for the panoramic view of city and later drove to the Franciscan Monastery/Jardin, Old town etc. In addition, we got to know of the places like fleur marche, Indian restaurants, places for outing. We also got to know the specialties of the region like flowers esp lavendar and we did shop for the same later. With the time well spent, we will surely remember the experience for a long time.

This was a good tour and we really enjoyed ourselves. We saw an amazing Russian orthodox church, some of the neighborhoods of Nice and a cute chocolate factory. We had about an hour in old town to shop and have lunch. The tour picked us up at the hotel and that was nice. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this tour for a good overview of the city of Nice.
