Nadat uw cruiseschip in Palermo heeft aangelegd, geniet u van een kustexcursie naar de mooiste bezienswaardigheden in de stad! Tijdens deze hop-on hop-off tour maakt u kennis met het kloppend hart van Palermo. Na een korte wandeling naar het vertrekpunt van de bussen duikt u in een wereld waar eeuwenoude en moderne ruïnes naast elkaar staan. Breng een bezoek aan het Teatro Politeama, een mooie locatie in het bruisende stadscentrum met veel fantastische concerten op het programma. Bekijk ook de botanische tuinen bij Palazzo Steri en het centraal station, voordat u het indrukwekkende Palazzo Reale bezoekt dat rond de 9e eeuw door Arabische heersers werd gebouwd.
Uw Palermo hop-on hop-off tour brengt u ook naar het prachtige historische Palazzo Steri, beroemd om zijn mooie houten plafond. Ontdek deze fascinerende stad in uw eigen tempo en breng een bezoek aan het schitterende Arabische kasteel, Castello Della Zisa, met zijn prachtige tuinen en fonteinen -- volgens velen een van de meest interessante bezienswaardigheden in Palermo.
Met de open dubbeldekker kunt u zo vaak in- en uitstappen als u maar wilt. De twee routes zijn onderling met elkaar verbonden, zodat u, afhankelijk van uw interesses, eenvoudig van route kunt wisselen. Zie de routebeschrijving hieronder voor een volledige lijst met haltes.
Deze excursie start op 20 minuten loopafstand van de cruisehaven. U bepaalt dus zelf hoe laat u terugkeert naar uw schip in Palermo. Zorg ervoor dat u voldoende tijd uittrekt voor de excursie en dat u op tijd weer terug bent bij de Passenger Terminal. Deze excursie valt niet onder onze Zorgeloos-garantie.

The driver didn't complete the route as per the map and screw up my planning. I took the redline from point 1 to 3. My next trip should be point 7 but the driver going the reverse of the loop and back to point 1 without going through 7 and 8.

Small city, could hire a private tour just as well. Nothing great or bad on this one...

We were told to take the Red line first, which we did. Unfortunately the open deck was full so we have sit in the lower deck. But the windows in the lower deck was covered with semi-transparent materials. We could not see outside clearly. We ended up have to take the route again on the upper deck, which we enjoyed thoroughly. But we had to spend an extra hour on this route and we had very limited time at this port. When we finished the Red line, we wait at the stop for the green line. The worker at the stop told us that the green line bus would not be there for another 30 minutes and we could use the toilet across the street. But we needed to return to the stop 10 minutes prior the bus' arrival. we did as we were told. But it was a long line-up when we returned to the stop. The people waiting at the top had a number ticket in their hands and the worker was calling the number to allow people to get on the bus. We definitely would not be able to get on that bus and we did not have time to wait for the next bus as we had to return to our cruise on time. So it ended up six of us spending 30 CAD each to ride on the red line bus twice. The experience was frustrating and it was really not worth the money at all. I would not recommend this activity for others.

This was the way to get around Palermo if you are getting off the cruise ship , less than 10 minute walk.
