Over deze activiteit

Bezoek de prachtige stad Rouen en bezichtig de oude binnenstad met uw gids. Verken vervolgens de mooie havenplaats Honfleur. Ontdek het beroemde Omaha Beach, landingsplaats van de geallieerden in de Tweede Wereldoorlog, en bezoek de Amerikaanse militaire begraafplaats van Saint-Laurent en Arromanches.
U krijgt een rondleiding in Saint-Malo en bezoekt de abdij Mont Saint-Michel, UNESCO-werelderfgoedlocatie. Reis naar het midden van Frankrijk en bewonder het luxe interieur en de statige pracht van het Château de Langeais.
U besluit uw bezoek aan het Loiredal met een rondleiding in Château de Chambord, een van de mooiste kastelen van Frankrijk, waarna u terugreist naar Parijs.

Efficient use of time to see as many important sites as possible. Guides were friendly and knowledgeable. Hotels were utilitarian, but clean, comfortable with adequate breakfast. Only one dinner included. Buses were clean, modern, and comfortable. Chateaux not castles in the usual sense. Wine tasting was fun, but only three pours (red, rose, white)

Well organised and well paced. The accomodation was great, the guide was informed and interssting. Good size group on tour as well.

This is a great trip to get a feel for the area. The tour is for a large group of people, which is not really my preference, but for the price, this is the standard. The hotels were lovely. The only comment I would make would be recommending less stops so we could have more time at the prime spots. We left the hotel very early in the morning, and got there after 6:00 pm at night. Helene was our tour guide for most of the trip. She was amazing. Mostly we loved it. Just a little tiring.

Our guide, Dominique was incredible with her ability to remember all of the historical details with such detail. Despite our bus breaking down in Rouen, we had an incredible 3 day trip and would recommend this to anyone who wants to have a great overview of northern France.
