Begin uw tour van een halve dag vroeg in de ochtend om 9:00 uur of 's middags rond 14:00 uur.

Aveiro was ooit een vissersdorp, waar inwoners leefden van de rivier, de zee en de zoutproductie. Tijdens deze tour naar Aveiro brengt u een bezoek aan het historische centrum, de vismarkt, en hebt u een panoramisch uitzicht op de ooievaarsnesten en de 'Salinas' van Aveiro, een zoutafzetting. Na een bezoek aan het historische centrum maakt u een schitterende cruise van een uur in een traditionele boot, genaamd 'moliceiro'. Deze boten zijn versierd met motieven die verband houden met de lokale cultuur. Na de boottocht kunt u genieten van een wandeling door de wijk Costa Nova, tussen de grenzen van Aveiro en de zee. Tijdens deze wandeling bewondert u de oude typische gekleurde huizen die doen denken aan strandhuisjes.

Really enjoyed the afternoon tour to Aviero. Gonzalo was very knowledgable and funny. The beach was beautiful and the boat tour was fun. The tour actually could have been an hour longer so that we would have had a little more time to walk around but other than that it was just perfect.

The guide was very good - very friendly and tried his best. The tour was somewhat of a disappointment - especially the boat cruise which was really not worth the time and money. It was good to visit the seaside and Aviero, but overall it was a stretch with limited things to see and/or do.

Was interesting to see but definietly only do this half day because there's not much to look at and the car ride itself is 1 to 1.5 each way. I was recommend other activities before this activity. Our tour guide was great but it wasn't what I expected and definitely didn't compare to Venice, Italy besides the fact that were canals.

I would have spent the time in Porto had I known how short and unimpressive this tour was. The tour leader was really great! He was charming and accommodating. The destination was lack-luster.
