Arriving at PHUKET MINING MUSEUM, is a very informative cultural and historical attraction in Phuket. How the Chinese workers lived there daily lives which would be the forerunner of Phuket as we know it today.
Visit to Khao Rang Viewpoint. Khao Rang Hill in Phuket Town is one of Phuket's most famous viewpoints. Located to the northwest of the city centre, its summit offers views out over the town, to the south of the island, neighbouring islands and along the hills forming the 'spine' of the island, upon which sits the impressive Big Buddha.
After exploring we set for lunch at Leam Hin Sea Food Restaurant or equivalent, after lunch we visit to Phuket Thaihua Museum. Phuket has a long history as a trading hub controlled by the local Peranakan Chinese community, a community is Straits Chinese found in Singapore, Penang and Malacca) and the best way to explore this rich history is at the Phuket Thaihua Museum, housed in a charming 1930s British-colonial-style mansion that was formerly the oldest Chinese-language school in Phuket. Spread over the two stories are 16 galleries portraying the island’s Chinese ancestry and Phuket Town’s growth to prosperity.
Visit to Wat Chalong. This place is called WatChalong or commonly known as WatChaitaram, located in AmphoeMueng. It is considered one of the most notable temples in Phuket. Nowadays the temple is renowned for its holiness as well as the virtues of LuangPoh Cham since his valorous act against the Chinese rebellion named Ung Yi. He accommodated villagers and offered them white inscribed scarfs in order to mentally support the villagers.
Then we visit to Laem Phrom Thep. Laem Phromthep is perhaps one of Phuket's most important landmarks. There is a saying that you havent been to Phuket unless you have visited Laem Phromthep.
