U wordt opgehaald bij uw hotel of ontmoet uw groep bij het centraal gelegen ontmoetingspunt in Split of Trogir om te beginnen met deze spannende tour van één dag buiten de stad. U bent slechts op een korte rit afstand van de eerste stop – de grote stad Sibenik. Deze stad is niet alleen architectonisch mooi, maar ook historisch belangrijk, en daarom leert u er alles over tijdens de wandeling naar het midden van de historische kern en een bezoek aan een zeer uniek kunstwerk, de kathedraal van St. James. Luister naar alle informatie over de unieke architectonische oplossingen van deze UNESCO-locatie en bewonder de uitbundige gebeeldhouwde schoonheden. Uw bezoek aan Sibenik wordt kort maar krachtig, dus na ongeveer een uur kunt u afscheid nemen van deze prachtige kuststad en gaat u weer terug naar de bus.
Geniet van een korte rit naar de Krka-watervallen in het National Park en de uitnodigende natuurlijke schoonheid van het meest fascinerende deel van het park – Skradinski Buk. De wandeling door het park brengt u direct in een kleine gelijkenis van authentiek nagebootste gerenoveerde stenen huizen – workshops, tentoonstellingen en de watermolen tonen alle benodigdheden die nodig waren voor een leefbaar dorp eeuwen geleden. Buiten deze kleine reeks stenen huizen is er een heel web van paden voor bezoekers die richting de wateren van de betoverende Krka-rivier willen. Verken deze paden met uw gids tijdens het luisteren naar de verschillende kruiden en diersoorten die van deze plek hun leefomgeving hebben gemaakt. Ontspan te midden van de grijstinten van hoge bomen of zit gewoon lekker bij de verfrissende rivier en geniet langzaam van alle schoonheid om u heen. Haal het meeste uit uw tijd in deze fascinerende plaats en maak gebruik van de vrije tijd om in de rivier te springen en om dicht bij één van de cascades te zwemmen voor een zeer unieke ervaring. U kunt ook lunchen (tegen extra kosten) in een klein restaurant in het park, maar als u dat liever niet doet, is dat ook prima. Gebruik al uw vrije tijd om elk hoekje van de omgeving te verkennen en om perfecte foto's te maken. De sightseeingcruise over de rivier Krka is nog een extra ervaring voor u tijdens deze tour.
Vervolgens neemt u afscheid van dit kleine stukje paradijs en keert u terug naar de bus. De rit terug naar Split voert u door enkele opvallende landschappen en pittoreske Dalmatische dorpen. Na aankomst in Split of Trogir wordt u afgezet op dezelfde plaats waar u bent opgehaald in de ochtend.

Our tour guide, Darijo Tavric was fantastic and made the trip very fun and interesting. He took interest where everyone was from and made funny jokes and remarks or provided stories on what he had learnt on previous tour trips. He was most helpful when at Krka Waterfalls explaining the best route and itinerary to take to take advantage of the time spent well there.

I highly recommend this day trip to everyone! The graylines company are very kind and have an intensive knowledge of krka and sibenik. Our tour guide Darijo was humerous, friendly and was very knowledgeable making the day very interesting. His knowledge of krka enabled us to view amazing aspects of the park. Krka is a must when visiting croatia and graylines made the day fabulous for my friends and myself.

The falls are beautiful however less impressive than anticipated based on write up and reviews. Very commercialized and crowded. Would not recommend this tour.

Fabulous day out. Krka is a beatiful National Park worth a visit. Beatiful place. Might be packed with tourists but that does not make it any less worthwhile. My husband and I had lunch in one of the restaurants at the park close to the famous bathing waterfalls. The price was ok and the food was delicious with very generous portions. Our guide was pleasant and made the trip run smoothly. I highly reccommend yhis visit.

Waterfalls is a must see in Croatia. I had the best tourist guide ever: Darijo Tavric', he has great sense of humor, it was great tour, thanks a lot!!!

We had lots of fun!! it is a beautiful Place and the town is really interesting. The Cafe is just cheap and cheerful, and we ate there independently from the group.

The tour was rubbish and over priced, Dario was very rude and pre planned a meal for us if we wanted it for 100 kuna each, the meal was disgusting, we didn't even eat it! The walking tour around Sibenik was uninteresting and again the tour guide was very rude, same with krka tour, was very short and unimpressive.

We thoroughly enjoyed this day out but don't get caught up in the special lunch the guide offers for 100Kuna - it's not that it's overly expensive it's just rubbish food and you can get a baguette or a crepe and spend more time looking around or swimming. The falls and the whole park are really stunning and all the info given about the growing travertine stone, the area and it's history was great. Even on our day which was a bit rainy, the park is absolutely jammed with people and I would suggest you take a pair of converse or similar shoes to swim in because the stone is quite sharp. Don't expect any kind of beach or to be allowed near the falls - it's a wild river and the swimming area is clearly marked out. The side trip to Sibenik and the St James Cathedral there is fantastic. Our guide knew so much about this UNESCO World Heritage Church and it was great to hear all of it. The baptismal downstairs is also really lovely. Sibenik itself is a lovely town to see also.
