De tour begint met het ophalen bij het hotel (afhankelijk van de locatie van uw accommodatie) voordat u naar de Blue Mountains vertrekt.

Geniet van versnaperingen op de rivier de Nepean, de rustige westelijke grens van Sydney, met ochtenddrankjes en snacks.

Bezoek Kings Tableland of Evans Lookout, de beste plek om de wildernis van de Blue Mountains te bekijken. Maak een aangename wandeling naar Wentworth Falls, een van de spectaculairste uitkijkpunten in de Blue Mountains.

Stop bij Leura waar u wat vrije tijd kunt besteden aan het verkennen van dit pittoreske dorpje met geweldige winkels, uitstekende keuzes voor de lunch met voor elk wat wils. Leura is zeer populair bij de bewoners van Sydney.

Dan is de beurt aan Katoomba. Katoomba ligt in het centrum van de Blue Mountains en is de gateway van de twee populairste toeristische attracties: de Three Sisters-rotsformaties en Scenic World. Hier vindt u prachtige authentieke cottages, een goed gevestigde hotelbranche en een breed scala aan cafés en restaurants.

Bezoek de Three Sisters-rotsformatie waar u kunt luisteren naar de Aboriginals-legenden over deze beroemde rotsformatie.

Als u geïnteresseerd bent in een bezoek aan Scenic World, profiteer dan van alle voorzieningen worden aangeboden door een van Australië's meest bezochte toeristische attracties, waaronder:

Skyway - Australië's hoogste kabelbaan.
Cableway - Australië's grootste kabelbaan.
Railway - Het steilste treinspoor voor passagiers ter wereld.
Loopbrug - het langste verhoogde plankenpad in Australië, met 2,4 km binnen een gematigd regenwoud.

Aboriginal-locatie, waar u meer te weten komt over rotsgravures van de Aboriginals en over de Dharug, waarvan men denkt dat ze zich meer dan 22.000 jaar geleden in de Blue Mountains hebben gevestigd.

Onderweg ziet u Homebush Bay, thuisbasis van de Olympische Spelen van 2000.

Maak een trip naar Sydney Harbour terwijl u ontsnapt aan het middagverkeer en ontspan u tijdens een cruise in de middag over de rivier de Parramatta (die later Sydney Harbour wordt) terug naar Circular Quay (centrum) waar de tour eindigt (rond 18:30-19:00 uur)

The morning pick-up route and admin was a little involved, but amply compensated for a jolly and knowledgeable guide (Hayden) and the spectacular sights along the trails. Also good is how guests are given the option for pay the entry fee for Scenic World -- where we were very lucky to spot a lyre bird in action thanks to Hayden's keen eye and persistence! The rides there are also fun but that wouldn't be the primary reason I pay for entry. :)

I love how the driver was very knowledgeable and had very good sense of humor and I'm pretty sure everyone on this trip agreed with me on this. The trip was fun. The driver stopped the car and allowed us to spot kangaroos by roadside. Thank you very much! :)

Our tour leader, Les, made the day so enjoyable, provided us with history and fun facts about Australia and his enthusiasm and knowledge of the plants and animals of the mountains made it a memorable experience. I'm so glad I choose this tour for the one day I had in Sydney. Any nature lover must do this!

We enjoyed our Blue Mountain Trip. The scenery was great. We took the option to hike down to the Katoomba Falls, we would have liked more time for this. we were looking at the time as we had to be back at the bus for our return journey to The Parramatta river. The river cruise back to Sydney harbour was great. We stopped for a nice lunch break in Leura. In fairness to our driver we were delayed in Sydney looking for two women who had boarded the wrong tour bus. We had to spend over an hour looking for them. They were lucky to have a kind driver who took the time to find them. I think because of our late departure we didn't stop at Wentworth falls. Kudos to our driver, some drivers would have put the two women down as a no show. Kevin and Jenny

Our guide was Adam, a very knowledgeable person about local environments and plant life. Some of us compared him to Bush Tucker man who can survive on indigenous plants and berries. He explained along the way every tree, plant and ants etc that keeps the environments healthy and depend upon each other to keep the forest alive. He shared his Aussie humour and never hesitated to answer any question, irrelevant it may seem, with an explanation and humour. He called us Adams Family and kept us amused all along the way. From forest adventure to the Parramatta river cruise to the cable car ride, he accompanied us all the way along, explaining the formation of the valley and the mountains around area. We then went on the steepest cable ride Extra cost not included in the itinerary, and its something to be experienced. If you ever go on this tour, make sure you ask for Adam and you will enjoy his humor and charm. Highly recommend the tour.
