This is the highest point reachable by bus. Climbers usually start their ascension from the 5th station.

Have lunch around Kawaguchi Lake at Kawaguchiko Craft Park. Why not try your hand at local arts and crafts or even try throwing shurikens like a ninja ?

Oshino Hakkai is a small traditional village famous for its eight ponds that are known for containing Japan's purest water, coming from melted snow from the top of the mountain, filtered through porous layers of solidified lava.

Enjoy shopping at one of Japan's biggest outlets containing hundreds of shops of both Japanese and western brands.

The 5th station is 2300m above sea level, so bring a jacket because it could get chilly.
Subject to favorable weather conditions. During heavy snowfall season the road leading up to Fuji 5th station will be blocked off. In this case instead of Mt. Fuji 5th station, we will visit Kitaguchi-Hongu-Fujisengen Shrine.
Depending on traffic and road conditions, the time spent at each sightseeing spot may be shortened.
