Walk across the 446-foot (136-meter) suspension bridge, which spans across the Capilano River. Enjoy a dazzling spectacle of holiday lights and Christmas decorations in the forest around you, making you feel as if you’ve entered a winter wonderland.

On your Treetops Adventure, you’ll get a bird’s-eye view of this thriving coastal forest as you venture from one Douglas fir tree to another on a series of elevated suspension bridges, some reaching as high as 100 feet (30 meters) above the forest floor.

Then, enjoy unparalleled views on the thrilling Cliffwalk, a glass-bottom viewing area suspended over the Capilano River!

Afterward, join a guided nature or history walk or explore on your own to discover the mysteries of this old-growth forest and spot various native flora and fauna. This was a fun, beautiful date night for my wife and I -- we dashed across the border from the Seattle area and made an evening of it. The park is quite a bit bigger than we thought, with three main areas of attraction that were open. We went on a weeknight, so it wasn't nearly as crowded as it could have been for the holiday season. Wear warm clothing with sturdy, non-slip footware, and be prepared for a lot of stair climbing. The only real downside was the parking -- the park is in a relatively cramped residential area and while there is a parking lot, it's cramped. Plan a good 2-3 hour to tour the park with a little bit of extra for getting in and out.

This was indeed a winter wonderland. The Christmas lights were beautifully displayed. There was food. There was plenty of hot chocolate, and there was even a place to unthaw if you get too cold. Not only do you have the suspension bridge to tickle your fancy, but also the tree top walk and cliff walk--thumbs up for all three. This activity was money well spent.

We had tickets for Saturday but rain was expected. We went on Friday evening and our tickets were honored. I've never been to the bridge during past trips but this was definitely worth it. Since it there was a light off/on rain it wasn't crowded. The lights were pretty amongst the trees. I always thought it was just the bridge but there are other things to see and do.

Absolutely amazing, despite the rain. This park offers green plastic ponchos which are a great help. Stunning lights everywhere you look do the Cliff Walk too and bring your camera :- End your evening with a coffee and Bailey's- there is a free shuttle ride back to Vancouver...
