Luxe tour van een halve dag door Washington met gereserveerde toegang tot het Capitol
Aan het begin uw tour ontmoet u uw gids en andere deelnemers bij de Neptune Fountain, buiten de Library of Congress. Steek de straat over voor exclusieve, gereserveerde toegang tot het Capitol, waarbij u de lange wachtrijen overslaat. Na de beveiligingscontrole betreedt u het hoofdkwartier van de Amerikaanse wetgevende macht, waar u eerst een 15 minuten durende introductiefilm te zien krijgt. Kom meer te weten over het ontstaan van het Amerikaanse Congres en maak vervolgens een historische wandeling met gids langs de Crypt, Rotunda, en National Statuary Hall. U hebt aan het einde van uw tour voldoende tijd om het bezoekerscentrum te bekijken.
Na tijd te hebben doorgebracht in het Capitol, komt u weer bijeen met uw gids en stapt u in een comfortabele shuttlebus met airconditioning voor een onvergetelijke tocht over de National Mall. Onderweg wordt gestopt om het Witte Huis te bekijken vanaf de North Lawn, en ziet u het World War II Memorial, het Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial, het Lincoln Memorial, het Korean War Memorial, en het Vietnam Memorial. Kom meer te weten over de geschiedenis en de betekenis van elk monument en neem de tijd om gedenkwaardige foto's te maken van uw bezoek. Uw 5 uur durende rondleiding eindigt bij het U.S. Navy Memorial.

- Laat het ons weten als u of iemand in uw gezelschap titanium lichaamsdelen heeft, zodat we de Capitol-politie voorafgaand aan de veiligheidscontrole daarover kunnen informeren
- Er zijn weinig parkeerplaatsen bij Capitol Hill; we adviseren u dan ook met de taxi of met het openbaar vervoer naar het vertrekpunt van de tour te komen
- Zorg dat u ten minste 15 minuten vóór vertrek van de tour aanwezig bent voor het inchecken en de veiligheidscontrole
Good tour covering all major monuments. Would recommend to get good overview of Washington in short period
Tour guide made terrible attempt at humor. She didn’t know how to properly use a microphone in the bus and had no speaker outside. At one point we came to Lafayette Park and her only bit of information was the name of the park and that the statue was of Lafayette. I could have bought a map! I wish we could have walked away. Capitol tour was great but she wasn’t our guide.
This is a great tour. We started out with Christopher at the Capitol and were very impressed with him (ask him to name a statue from your state!). We thought we were going to be disappointed that he went with another group but we were wrong. Yanna is amazing. She came to USA in 1974 and must have spent a lot of time absorbing American history. She was extremely knowledgeable but also very entertaining. She’s just precious too. Other things that are great about the tour are the small groups and air conditioned buses. Can’t go wrong with that in the DC summer heat and humidity!
Different groups at Capitol are getting mixed ending up with over 60 people in one group. Time at spots much to short. Tour guide was overwhelmed with size of group mostly talking about his opinion - boring!
If it’s your first time this tour is great. If it is been a while this tour is a great ways to see so much in one day. The guide makes the difference, Nick was awesome!

Tour was well organized and the Guides were excellent, professional and highly knowledgeable. Program delivered an excellent education and kept to it's promised schedule.Vans and Drivers were superior and operated with a high degree of safety.Good value for price.
The tour was very nice and the bguide was well informed.
Could have been organised better as mixed in with those taking the river cruise so we lost a lot of time taking them and until asked what was going got a new bus for the group of us to continue on instead of having to wait around We booked half day for a reason due to time constraints
